And another one!!

Here’s the one where I successfully complete another experience design.

Establishing visual identity is now become one of the staples at the studio and we aren’t complaining. This particular one started in March of 2024 and in some ways, is personal.

We established the brand’s visual identity earlier in 2024 but the herculean task was for The Healing Summit.

~

When thee Dr.Yeni messaged me Feb 2024, she had mentioned that she was working on a Kingdom Project and wanted to discuss — immediately runs to the Lord! It felt so random but I heard Kingdom and I was like Here I am Lord, my vessel is yielded.

I think what really “sold” me was the discussion we had. I see and know first-hand, the disparities in women’s health in the United States - matter of fact I’ve been on the other end where I literally had to discharge myself from the hospital against medical advice because no one was LISTENING to me! (story for another day) but she shared her story and got personal and I saw right there a woman of God who God has setup and appointed for such a time as this.

I could discern this was a first-of-its-kind movement and the innovation enthusiast in me was thrilled to come on board in whatever capacity and beyond the excitement, there was alignment.

INITIAL MOODBOARDING

There was a need to define the identity for this movement and I was committed to bring the best I could.

A “lot” happened in the while but like I said — C O M M I T T E D. “No one who puts his hand to the plow and looks back is fit for the kingdom of God.” — that is Luke 9:62.

God’s hand and backing on this summit and tbh the collective as a whole is evident and crazy. Listen to her post summit testimony and tell me this doesn’t have God all over it! Insane warfare and VICTORY!

The role I played:

Brand Strategist, Designer and a sprinkle of Creative Direction. I worked with the most amazing people on this in other capacities such as event operations & management, administrations, marketing and more.

The branding for the event, the content design and management for social media (and no, I am not a social media manager), signage and other collaterals for the event were all created by yours truly.

I even dusted off my crusty After Effects hat for a little motion-based visual which we loved. Overall it was a successful one for which I am very grateful and honored — and all the glory is really to the Creator of all things. I guess the apple doesn’t fall too far from the tree indeed — actually this apple didn’t even leave the tree lol :)

Ok I’m going to end here before I get on a tangent…
