Items from my feb reads, The Silent Patient which I’m still reading (intriguing), Streams in the Desert is a devo that Dr. Ruthie Olumba recommended and its a good one for sure; a bit medieval in tone tho. The Shelter of the Most High is one of those ones you want to read a second time and meditate on.
skincare finds, in an attempt to find a soft body cream in Nigeria to “replace” the one I love from Beekman 1802, I got Amila’s Whipped Shea Butter and while it is lovely and has a beautiful sheen it wasn’t the consistency I was hoping for. Still like it tho and I use it for my hair as well (double whammy).Then there is liquified oșę dudu - African Black Soap with Honey, Lemon & Tumeric from SmithSKIN which has now grown on me.
my workspace, the one and only iPad — every other tablet is a counterfeit ISWIS, Dear Apple, I would appreciate a newer model with bigger screen #sponsoredblogpostcollab?☺️
teas of the month, Tazo’s Passion tea from Target or Amazon and the M&S Digest tea.
currently not following any TV series except Love is Blind’s New Season — for “research” purposes only. I was more inclined to watch Youtube with no ads (can we talk about how Youtube charges advertisers to display their ads and charges consumers to NOT have ads?!) I need a business idea like this! #2waybillings
art-design spotlight is from Design Week Lagos. I went to check out some Made in Nigeria Designs and I was really impressed and hope to see subsequent events like this.
